It is a nominal fee-based service published by Victorian Smart Planning – Permit Application Services (VSPPAS), a town planning business that primarily offers planning advice and just gets planning permits.

It has helped thousands of applicants with the basics of preparing, lodging and getting a planning permit.

It was established to help people with government websites and the planning permit process for every Victorian council. It is not a government website.
