Note:

If you are applying for more than one class of VicSmart application (ie, more than one checklist), then ask the council for the correct fee.

Fees for multiple classes of planning application are calculated by adding the highest fee to 50% of the remaining fees.

Additional fees may be payable to amend a VicSmart permit equal to those above, or a request to amend the endorsed plans under Secondary Consent – where fees vary between councils.

* In the City of Monash, the fee for VicSmart applications for Checklist 7 – Remove, destroy or lop one tree is $0.
* In the City of Greater Geelong, VicSmart applications must use their specific application form.

The Complete VicSmart Guide replicates the government’s VicSmart application form and checklists online, and provides assistance to get the information requirements for any combination of types of VicSmart planning application and any Victorian local government council.
