What is a disturbed area?

The purpose of the erosion management overlay is to protect areas prone to erosion, landslip or other land degradation processes, by minimising land disturbance and inappropriate development.

Therefore, any works including any change to the natural or existing condition or topography of land including the removal, destruction or lopping of trees and the removal of vegetation or topsoil may be constitute a disturbed area.
