What is Standard C8 of Clause 56?

If the land is in a residential zone and the subdivision will create a vacant lot, you will have to show that your proposal complies with the requirements of the Standard C8 of Clause 56.04-2: “Lot area and building envelopes”, in the planning scheme.

For your VicSmart application you only need to address both the lot size and building envelope requirements of the Standard C8 in your application, but not the objective which is required for regular permits. Your application must show how the proposal meets both.
