How to construct a building or construct or carry out works in an Activity Centre Zone

To do your own planning application to construct a building or construct or carry out works in an Activity Centre Zone as a VicSmart application, the firststep is to check if your application is eligible for the VicSmart process.This will ensure that your application meets the following criteria:

1. The land is in an Activity Centre Zone in the Greater Geelong Planning Scheme.
2. The estimated cost of building or works is no more than $250,000.
3. The land is not within 30 metres of land (not a road) which is in a residential zone.
4. The land is not used for a purpose listed in the table to Clause 52.10.
