Heritage Overlays and external materials, colours and finishes

Heritage policy encourages external materials, colours and finishes for heritage buildings that are consistent with and complement the style and period of the heritage place.

If the schedule to the Heritage Overlay in the Planning Scheme specifies that external paint controls apply, then you should seek advice from Council’s Heritage Planner regarding colours and finishes.
